Daggers and anything that shares its animations are the best weapons in this game.

It gets a bit rough for a while after the 40 minute mark due to me trying to push my luck and progress a little bit faster than you're supposed to. There is also a lot of back and forth between the dungeon and town which is mostly unavoidable due to the forced character swap right at the end.

The hard mode does away with the swap but also does away with the town, leaving you to get to the bottom of the dungeon and kill the boss without being able to rely on any crutches except the in-game save.

1. Obviously, I am emulating this.
2. I did not use any save states. In fact, I didn't save at all.
3. This was done in one sitting.
4. The only edits I did to this recording were 3 instances of idling to regen health.
5: Unedited, this recording was 3 hours, 59 minutes and 10 seconds long.
6. The ending is just text, regardless of what choice you make after killing the boss.
7. This was my second attempt. I wasn't prepared for the character swap on the first go.
