In Suriname we use “Zoutvlees” which is salted meat but since we don’t really have that in the USA, I started making it with bacon and it gives a nice smokey flavor!
The Habanero is one of the best I’ve tasted here but gotta say, if you ever visit Suriname, you’ve got to taste your food with a Madame Jeanette 😍
