For just over 3 years, I've used the same dual pen setup for my page executions, but a few months ago in the middle of my 6-month work trip, I bought two TWSBI pens and in this video, I test them out and answer my own question of LAMY vs TWSBI: Are they replacing my beloved Lamy Safari Fountain Pens setup?

✒️🔌 Everyone asks, so the dual pen clip is by a small company called “The Superior Labor” based in Japan. They truly are a small business so their pieces are quite difficult to find. The ONLY way I know how to get them is to search for “The Superior Labor Pen Clip + Your City/Country” and see what shows up. Chances are, they’ll be sold out, but most websites have a “notify me when back in stock” button where you can put your email in and get to try to snag one as soon as you get that email. The OTHER way to increase your chances is to physically go to Japan, but even then, it’s not a guarantee… so… don’t do that if that’s your SOLE reason for traveling lol.

🚨👆The “580 AL” (without the “R”) has a smooth aluminum grip, and of course, the “TWSBI ECO” is their most entry-level pen, which many argue is much better VALUE than the Safari… I disagree… but that’s because I’m VERY biased being STILL in love with my Lamy’s lol… so don’t listen to my opinion on this - research for yourself.
