For this year’s Women’s Health Week (4-8 September 2023), we are highlighting a new service at Eastern Health that will help endometriosis patients receive better care.
Eastern Health Gynaecologist and advanced laparoscopic surgeons, Dr Shamitha Kathurusinghe and Dr Lior Levy has initiated a combined service with Dr Naseem Mirbagheri and Dr Vinna An from the colorectal team, to offer surgery for patients with severe endometriosis and bowel involvement.
