Spring is in the air and so are the chirps and cries of dozens of funny baby birds at Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach, Florida. Herons, wood storks and many other birds return to the rookery every year to build nests, lay eggs and raise their young. Wakodahatchee serves as a nursery for birds and as a place where the county can recharge the area's fresh water aquifer by releasing treated wastewater into the park.
