AMCU President Joseph Mathunjwa has threatened to shut down the entire mining industry if any of the striking platinum workers are retrenched when the crippling strike is finally over. The strike is now approaching four months - and wage talks collapsed once more last week. Meanwhile President Jacob Zuma has taken aim at the union.
