Pawan Kumar Agarwal's story begins from a tea garden in Jorhat, where he had a grocery shop. Pawan being an enthusiastic man, always had the desire to do something big and inspiring. Hence, he stepped out of his home to travel outside Jorhat and came to Guwahati.

Initially, selling 'floppy' disks, he understood the assignment of how assembling computers could give him a profitable business, at the time when the boom was yet to happen. Started doing it himself, to a time where almost the entire state relies on him for the top-notch computer appliances and parts.

Today, Pawan's company is worth ₹300 CRORES - this is Datamation alone. Other than this, he owns three hotels, cafes and other businesses.
