Avoca Boardriders are Australia's strongest boardriders club in 2017 after taking out the Australian Boardriders Battle in punchy 4-6ft surf at Newcastle Beach.
Along with a $24,000 prize check courtest of Nudie Australia, the team were also given a surf trip courtesy of World Surfaris to the amazing Kingfisher Mentawai Resort.
6 ABC surfers accompanied by 2 Surfing Australia filmers (Matt & Nimai) journey'd to the Mentawais in May 2017 and scored epic waves for 7 days.
