Every Saturday my boyfriend and I try to do something together for a few hours. We take turns choosing what activity or thing we will do and the other is not allowed to complain or protest 🤪
This is the first week, and Dante wanted to take a walk around his hometown: Loenen aan de Vecht.
De Vecht is a river, so this village is nestled on the river which is where it’s name comes from.
We were able to go into the windmill and learn more about how windmills work, as well as walk out onto the deck and appreciate the view!!! Our tour guide was really funny, knowledgeable and friendly. We bought some soap and cold sodas from the shop inside and enjoyed them on the very small terrace right on the water.
