A short two-part video starring the GCR's BR 5MT 73156 at their 50th Anniversary Gala last month; The first clip was filmed in Loughborough Central's yard, and is simply a chance to see the beautiful full size roundel designed for the event on 73156's smokebox door, and to watch her strut her stuff with a spot of draincock dynamics!
Clip 2 was filmed at Rothley by yours truly, standing on top of a bench to gain extra height. The loco is seen starting her train onto the single line section leading to Leicester North, it was surprising how quickly the public started to use the barrow crossing again after the train passed!
