Jaume Serra is situated at the top of a hill that slopes gently down towards the Mediterranean Sea in Vilanova I La Geltrú (Barcelona). Its origins date back to 1647, a year in which “El Padruell” was built, a walled estate that from the 16th century was used to protect an old *masia-fortaleza that, as the legend says, used to have a passage that connected with the village.
