The last weekend of campaigning is coming to a close for US Democratic candidates, before
voters head to the polls.

Democrats are racing to make their final pitches, and the big debate remains as to who will come out on top of the Iowa caucuses on Tuesday night.

With the impeachment trial set to resume on the same day, some senators running for president have split their time between Iowa and Washington.

Three main contenders- Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar have been caught up in Washington, stuck in the impeachment trial, keeping them away from a number of key events in Iowa.

Michael Bloomberg sidestepped the Iowa caucuses and entered the race a little bit later, however it has not stopped him from spending plenty of money on campaigning advertisements.
