Hello and welcome to this new 'Trains at' video which is from Retford located on the East Coast Mainline between Newark North Gate and Doncaster.

I found Retford to be an interesting station to spot at. The views/vantage points, range of traction was great but the station layout is quite annoying as the mainline platform and a fair distance from the lower platforms to Lincoln and Sheffield. This meant that I would miss or nearly miss some trains as it took a while to walk around the station. Nonetheless, I think I made the most of the two hours I spent at Retford before I went north to York.
