Again we follow a route, this time along a forgotten ralway line, which was active on the 2013 visit to eventually find the same location from 12 years ago & compare the image taken in 2013 to the modern day image in 2025.
Ballast freight services up to Meldon ended in 2011 but the line was used up until 2020 by a preservation railway & loco/carriageyard which went into administration & now stands abandoned. Meldon may yet supply HS2 with ballast which would see this line return.
