These fish were like dogs, seemingly smart and quite entertaining. When I walked up to the tank, they would swim up front and they saw my hand, they knew what was up: FOOD!
This was in 2004/2005 - I don't have these fish, nor the tank any longer; a friend inherited them from me. The larger Dempsey died some time by 2006.
