There happens to be a reference to the title character’s country of origin. When Deadpool loses his patience with Colossus after he causes Ajax to escape him, he lashes out and angrily punches Colossus, which causes him to break his hand doing so. As he does this, he exclaims “Oh, Canada”. This is a quick reference to Wade Wilson’s Canadian heritage, which lead actor Ryan Reynolds also happens to share in real life. “Oh, Canada” is also the national anthem of Canada.
