During Welcome Week at UCI, the New Student Convocation is an event where both Freshmen and Transfer students are officially welcomed into the new academic year. All new students are introduced to the Chancellor, Vice Chancellors, Deans, and Anteater Alumni's. The event features pep band, cheerleaders, and Peter the Anteater! ZOT ZOT ZOT!
