Some video footage from my 'revalidation' at Boracay (awarded best island in the world 2012 by Travel + Leisure). Only 4 months after my accident (see my YT video 'The End') I was able to enjoy again one of the most beautiful outdoor sports.
Together with my far-away (surf)-brother Pietje Kerckhove we had (again) a wonderful time. Even did 200km on the water one day. Very friendly people in Reef Riders Windsurfing Center and by far the best and largest windsurf rental on the Island. Also the atmosphere kite vs windsurfers couldn't be better on the very small island. Nice surf parties at Bulabog beach and off course happy hours all day long at White beach...
Never thought that surfing on a tandem board could be so much fun. Even tried something new (windsurf + kite).
Video is not HD, because of the different video/picture formats used (Go Pro, iPad, SGSII, Canon EOS,...). I hope the quality is still acceptable.
Also need a faster PC/laptop. It took ages finishing this video. I could only render 1-2 minutes at once and only see the results afterwards...
Can't wait to go back !!
