Maharashtra Police has decided to issue passes to people who need to travel within the state. Special Inspector General of Police Milind Bharambe has directed all police units to issue inter-district passes to citizens after veriying their reason for travel. He also instructed the police not to stop vehicles transporting essential commodities. People who wish to travel outside the state will have to contact the DGP's office in Mumbai.
