Zimbabwe goes to the polls on Saturday to elect 28 legislators and 105 councilors to fill posts left vacant by recalls and deaths since 2020. The parliamentary poll takes place in 8 of the country's 10 provinces. The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission says all logistical arrangements are in place, and has set up 1 317 polling stations. But the main opposition party, the triple C, claims that it couldn't campaign in some areas after police banned their rallies.
