Sunday Race # 2 - 750 Superbike Novice

This would be my first race of Sunday. I was a bit tired from practice on Friday and Saturday and seething from my losses on Saturday - "ish". My goal? Sub-2s yes. But most of all, pass Igor! LOL. Started from the last row. Difficult start due to the size of the group. Struggled in the first lap as the field spread apart. I hung on to the end and I could see Igor with his bright orange Alpinestars suit. It gave me the motivation to push. I finally get Igor going into turn 3 - cotton corners! Goal met! Then I see the next rider who I try to out brake only to get immediately passed back. So I try for the next corner and make it by and look for the next rider who I catch into the sweeper. I feel that Igor is coming after me so I push more but I gotta be careful because the air and track is still cool. But I just know Igor is coming for me so I try. Then I get surprised entering Phil Hill, it wasn’t Igor but another rider. It was enough to break my focus and I stand the bike up and run off track into the dust. F*ck! I keep it upright and just try to finish as the other classes come by. The race is done, I’m in last place, but I’m finishing without crashing. One good thing was that I managed 2 minute lap which is better than expected for me during the cool morning.
