TRS On full Swing In panchayat Election 2019, CM KCR, TRS, Telangana Elections, Alo TV

In Telangana, the ruling TRS supported candidates have swept the first phase of Gram Panchayat (GP) elections held yesterday. Though the State Election Commission is yet to officially declare all results, the reports pouring in from various districts indicate that out of total 4,479 Gram Panchayats in the first phase, Sarpanches at 769-gram panchayats have been elected unanimously, while poll at 9 places could not be held due to lack of a valid nomination. The TRS supported candidates have won in over 2000 panchayats out of remaining 3701 Panchayats.

Whereas, the Congress supported candidates won over 760 GPs while BJP supported candidates bagged over 50 GPs, left parties supported candidates in over 40 GPs and TDP candidates in 20 GPs.
