A large group of children enthusiastically welcomed a festively adorned aircraft in Denver on Saturday when the pilot revealed their destination for the day: the North Pole. For over three decades, United Airlines has been organizing its annual “fantasy flights” to imaginary North Poles at various airports globally, aiming to spread holiday joy to children and their families.
The young passengers, many of whom face significant health challenges, enjoyed a flight lasting approximately 45 minutes around the city before returning to Denver International Airport, where they were escorted to a hangar that United Airlines employees and volunteers had transformed into a North Pole setting.
