This video demonstrates how to utilize an "Active mobilization and/or Muscle Energy Technique" to promote "closing" of a desired facet joint in the cervical spine. This is a useful technique when a highly irritable/painful neck limits the clinicians ability to utilize mobilizations and/or manipulations effectively. This technique may be beneficial when a closing restriction is suspected. Again, the "guilty" facet joint is to be identified prior to the use of this technique.
