**Please Read Description**
Thursday October 12th 2017 - Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services were called to reports of a Boat Fire near False Creek Marina. Engine 8 arrived on scene with a fully involved sailboat extending to nearby boats. Battalion 1 arrived shortly after and assumed command and requested a 2nd Alarm assignment along with the Fireboat. Crews fought the fire from both water and ground. Crews knocked down the fire and starting with overhaul. The cause of this fire is unknown and no injuries were reported. Great Job well done by Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services as well as Vancouver Police Department, BC Ambulance Service, and Utility services for their hard work during this scene.
