- Premillennialists must believe that death will not be defeated for at least 1000 years after Christ returns bodily, leaving billions to be born and die while Jesus reigns upon the earth.
- Premillennialists must believe that the new heavens and the new earth are not established until at least 1000 years after Christ returns bodily.
- Premillennialists must believe that the judgment will not occur for at least 1000 years after Christ returns bodily.

But we must interpret unclear texts by clear ones, which is essential for proper interpretation.
- Christ is regining now and death is the last enemy to be defeated when Christ returns. The resurrection of all people occurs at this time (1 Cor. 15)
- The redemption of the earth will occur at the same time the our bodies are resurrected, not 1000 years after Christ returns (Rom. 8). Christ's return will occur at the very end and the new heavens and the new earth will arrive with him as shown in Rev. 20.
- The judgment will occur on the day the Lord returns (1 Thes. 1:5-12) and it will be with fire (2 Peter 3:8-13) as described at the end of Rev. 20. There is no gap between Christ's return and the judgment.
