The songlist for USA Extreme... is actually not bad compared to nothing. I do find some great moments with some of the returning KOs and even licenses for that matter (one of them being significant). Unfortunately, there are some drawbacks. Not including Bemani crossovers, only THREE new DDR songs are here and two of them are boss songs. And even though that 71 songs is respectable for CS standards, it's nowhere close compared to CS Japan's 111. However to me, it's just a minor annoyance. What I really hate is the AWFUL song menu interface. Songs are listed alphabetically even though there is an option to do that, picking your edited stepchart is a drag since it goes back to the original list; I heavily rely on the Groove Radar but there isn't one, and only the boss songs are color coded. In the end it's a good list, but this interface will always leave a bad taste every time.
