Service members, veterans and their families are an essential part of rural communities throughout Arizona. This session will explore the work being done in communities around the state to engage and serve this population. The session will also include an overview of the Rural Arizona Connects program and the VA’s Together With Veterans program.
The Arizona Coalition for Military Families’ Be Connected program provides no cost support to Arizona’s service members (Active Duty, Guard & Reserve), their family members, caregivers and community members through the statewide Support Line: 866-4AZ-VETS. Support is available for employment, housing, finances, benefits, healthcare, mental health, transportation, food security and much more. Visit ConnectVeterans.org to learn more.
Be Connected services are offered to anyone who has ever served in the United States military – regardless of length of service, era of service, discharge status or disability status.
