This is an original 1979 Fender Pro Reverb Ultralinear amp review + tips on how to get a more blackface sound out of the amp. The amp was recorded using a UA OX box on the 2 verb setting (twin reverb emulation) with just a straight u67 style mic. The guitar is a Fender custom shop Stratocaster. Valve 2 in the amp is a vintage Telefunken 12AX7, and a TAD (tube amp doctor) 12AT7 is driving the reverb tank. The output tubes are 2 TUNG-SOL 6L6GC.
