Cambodia is set for its first transfer of power in almost four decades. One of the world's longest-serving prime ministers, Hun Sen, has said he would resign and hand the baton to his eldest son Hun Manet. The new premier will be appointed on 10 Aug. The 45-year-old played a leading role in last Sunday's general election, in which the ruling Cambodian People's Party declared a landslide victory. Hun Manet was educated in the US and the UK. In recent years, he has become increasingly active in meeting foreign leaders, lawmakers and defence officials.
