Checking the oil level in their vehicle's engine is something I feel that most people rarely, if ever, do. They may be very faithful about getting the oil changed when they should, but then don't take time in between changes to check that their engine's oil level is where it needs to be. For a number of reasons, your car, truck, SUV, Minivan, or whatever, can use or leak oil over time, especially as it gets older. Checking it frequently, or at least periodically between oil changes, can prevent damage to your engine, which can be very, very expensive to repair.
