It's Gala Day in Scarsdale and the committee have left Selwyn to do all the work whilst they sup the ale but they get their comeuppence in the end with a runaway British Railways trolley.
British (Yorkshire Television) situation comedy from the 1970s starring Bill Maynard as Selwyn; he later played Claude Jeremiah Greengrass in "Heartbeat". Bill was also a singer, check out his version of "I'm Not A Pheasant Plucker I'm A Pheasant Plucker's Son And I'm Only Plucking Pheasants 'Til The Pheasant Plucker Comes".
Also featured as committee member Jack is Bill Dean who went on to have a long run in the Channel 4 soap opera "Brookside" and Richard Davies as Clive who previously appeared as teacher Mr Price in the ITV situation comedy "Please Sir".
