International credit rating agency standard & poor has affirmed Uganda’s credit rating as B/B with a stable outlook, citing the country’s solid growth prospects backed by high spending on public infrastructure projects.
The agencies report however takes note of the sluggish economic activity which it attributes to effects of drought on agricultural output, and the slower pace of implementation of projects.
