*Warning: This video discusses pederastic relationships between adult men and boys*
This video is about Plato's dialogue Phaedrus, in which Socrates and the titular Phaedrus discuss rhetoric. It's an odd dialogue because the first portion is given to making three speeches about whether it's better for a young man to be in a relationship with an adult man who loves him or doesn't love him. But in the second half of the dialogue, these speeches largely become a pretext for analyzing the nature of rhetoric.
