[PARTNERED] Sreeleathers started it’s journey from a single store in Jamshedpur, and have been steadfast in keeping it’s promise to customers for 70 years: World-class products, at the right price. The founder Suresh Chandra Dey was an Indian freedom fighter from Dhaka, who participated in the Chittagong Armoury Raid and the Battle of Jalalabad Hills that took place in April 1930, led by Masterda Surya Kumar Sen. The zeal to create a new life carried Suresh Dey westwards, and he set up the first Sreeleathers store in 1952 in the Steel City of Jamshedpur. Suresh Dey desired to bring quality footwear within the reach of ordinary Indians, as leather shoes were considered luxury products that most countrymen could not afford. Sreeleathers has grown to become a rare phenomenon in the Indian retail scene; a 100% swadesi brand that serves customers across the country, developing from our humble roots to cement our pan-Indian presence today. To this day, the descendants of Suresh Dey are guided by the principles of the man who put his country before his self, and we are privileged to have earned the goodwill and love of our loyal customers over the years.
