Troponin (Tn) is cardiac biomarker and elevated levels of cTnI and cTnT in the blood indicates acute coronary syndrome. In case of myocardial infarction, unstable angina, atrial fibrillation and myocarditis, serum levels of cardiac troponin may be elevated.
