Oval lid with handle
One of a pair of malvern tureens being listed, both with condition notes.
Condition note there is a very small under surface chip on the lid of one tureen and a firing crack around the handle of the lid on the other tureen.

Fine antique patina and remnants of gilt on the rims
F Winkle & Wood operated the Colonial Pottery site between 1893 and 1931, pieces in Malvern started to have the Winkle & Co Factory mark after around 1910 so these pieces date from before this.
During production Malvern was produced in Green and white, brown and white, brown with colour and this, the most popular blue and white versions.
