WhatsApp username is your profile name. Your other contacts can find out your identity if they haven't saved your number. Sometimes we set WhatsApp privacy to allow restricted contacts to view your profile. You can even set the same privacy for your WhatsApp username.

You can easily create your username. Just look at these steps:

Open your WhatsApp.
Tap on the settings option in the lower right corner.
Tap the profile picture at the top.
Now you can see your profile picture, status and phone number. You can see your name under your profile picture.
Tap the username and change it.
Username limit is 20 characters. There you can enter your username.



You can set username privacy. Just take a look at these steps to learn it:

Open WhatsApp.
Tap the "Settings" option in the lower right corner.
Tap the "Account" option.
Tap the "Privacy" option.
Tap the "for" option.
Here you can select privacy options. Set My Contacts to show your username to your contacts, or select Everyone to show everyone.
