BJP President Amit Shah on Tuesday asserted that his party will win over 150 out of the total 182 seats in the Gujarat assembly elections due next month. Shah was speaking with a news channel over Gujarati's Agenda, which brought Congress and BJP together to discuss the upcoming elections. The BJP chief countered the criticism against Goods and Services Tax (GST), saying that it will be an 'aashirvaad' for traders within a year. Shah said that within a year, traders will realise that GST as an aashirvaad blessing and not a burden. The Prime Minister is personally looking into the matter and the results will be out in the open for everyone to see, he added. On a question of a perceived increase in Congress party's popularity in Gujarat, Shah displayed confidence and predicted that the BJP would nab 150 seats. The Gujarat Assembly election will be held in two phases, on December 9 and December 14. The vote counting will happen alongside Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections on December 18.
