Also Check Out My 100s Of Fire Making Videos... I got some comments about charring other materials besides cloth and punk wood. I've never really tried other materials, so I chose these 3 readily available tinders that I thought would work because they are strong enough to be made into cordage. I didn't want to use materials that I thought would just crumble away and disintegrate when handling them for ignition and placement into the tinder bundles.
