We continue with our Canarian Wine tasting with this lovely red. It also comes from Llanos Negros winery from La Palma island, but the grapes of Listan Prieto are sourced from high altitude vineyards. This variety should not be confused with the better known Listan Negro, although in other parts instead of Listan Prieto it is called Moscatel Negra (Black Muscat) or simply Mission Grape, Uva Pais, Uva Criolla on the other side of the Atlantic.
