Vipul Mehta (born 1990) is an #Indianplaybacksinger, originating from Amritsar, Punjab, India. He won the title of Indian Idol in season 6 of the show i.e. on 1 September 2012. Vipul Mehta learned classical singing since he was 8 years old and is studying Mass Communications for a bachelor's degree. In 2008, he became a finalist in Amul STAR Voice of India in the programme's second season, but could not make it to the Final three. In 2012, he applied to #IndianIdol6 and won the sixth season with co-finalist Devendra Pal Singh, 17 becoming runner-up and Amit Kumar third. His debut single was "Rowaan Mein" written and composed by Asad Chohan and produced by Ali Mustafa. Following his win, he also released his debut album #HelloNamasteSatSriAkal. He has also sung songs for the movie #WeddingPulav.
Salim–Sulaiman is an Indian score composer duo consisting of siblings Salim and Sulaiman Merchant. The duo compose music predominantly for Hindi films. They are known as #musicalduo in the industry. Salim Merchant was a judge along with #AnuMalik and #SunidhiChauhan in season 5 and season 6 of Indian Idol. Salim has judged the second season of Indian Idol Junior along with Vishal Dadlani and Sonakshi Sinha. He was one among the four judges with Coach Shaan, Coach Benny, and Coach Neeti in the second season of The Voice India. Salim mastered the piano on at the Trinity College of Music in London while Sulaiman took up tabla training with such legends as Taufiq Qureshi and Ustad Zakir Hussain.
