(9 Mar 2017) QUEEN UNVEILS MEMORIAL TO IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN WARS
Britain's Queen Elizabeth II unveiled on Thursday (9 MARCH 2017) a national memorial honouring the armed forces and civilians who served their country during the Gulf War and conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The official unveiling took place following a Military Drumhead Service on Horse Guards Parade in London, attended by the royal family, politicians, veterans and their families, charity workers and civil servants.
