(26 Jul 2012) There appeared to be little disruption on London's transport system on Thursday, with just one day to go until the start of the Olympic Games.
The Oxford Circus area in central London was busy with pedestrians and underground stations were crowded, but for many Londoners that was nothing out of the ordinary.
"It's quite easy I think...I find it's got easier as the weeks gone on," said commuter Peter Dorney.
But he suggested it might be a different story once the Games get under way.
"I don't know how it's going to pan out when it really starts," he said.
There were some disruptions on the roads near the Olympic Park, however, with traffic moving slowly because of the Olympic lanes restrictions.
There were also some minor traffic jams in central London as thousands of well wishers lined the route of the Olympic torch relay.
