What’s the New Bosch Mixer Like?
I just got a brand new Bosch mixer - I was looking forward to the black, sleek stainless steel design. I just think it looks very classy to cook with. So today I wanted to share with you this machine because it's just so sleek and classic looking that I thought you might be interested in knowing why you should have a Bosch mixer.
This mixer has really functional and essential Bosch mixer parts such as the splash rings, wire whisk, spatula, and the dough hook extender, with the latter making it easier to knead the dough.
It also comes with a Bosch mixer bread recipe book, although I would use my freshly-milled flour for these recipes.
The motor on this Bosch mixer is 800 watts. That's why it's such a special machine, because it's going to out power most of your other kitchen mixers.
Okay, so let me tell you one more tip that you really need to know. When it comes to a batch mixer. I've actually been in several homes this past year because I have lots of foodie friends around the country. But many of them didn't realize that we are to take this driveshaft out when we clean our Bosch mixer. And so you want to clean this part, too. Well you wanna make sure it's perfect. dry before you put it back in, make sure the center section is perfectly dry before you put it back in as well. Now sometimes moisture gets right down in here.
I also like the suction feet, which means that your Bosch mixer universal plus won’t be dancing around on the counter when you mix your batter. There’s also a drive shaft every once in a while if you have moisture in there, you're going to want to dry that out with a Q tip I just keep q tips handy in the kitchen and then maybe once a quarter, you might want to add just a little bit of oil in there and keep it lubricated and clean. So that's to protect the life long ability of this machine and then when everything's dry and clean, we just put the driveshaft back in. lacking in place, super easy.
