2025 Lexus LX 700h The Lexus LX was redesigned just a few years ago, and while its standard engine provides enough power to move the big SUV with authority, it lacks the wow factor offered by other luxury SUVs in the $100,000 price class. That changes for the 2025 Lexus LX 700h, which adds more power and slightly improved fuel economy thanks to its electrified powertrain. There’s also a new Overtrail trim level for buyers who want an even more off-road-capable vehicle.

In addition to adding the hybrid LX700h (reviewed separately) to the lineup for 2025, Lexus has made a few changes to the nonhybrid LX’s standard features. All models now come with upgraded safety tech, including emergency steering assist, a curve-speed management system for the adaptive cruise control, and an oncoming-vehicle detection system. A head-up display is now standard across the LX600 lineup too. The LX’s optional massaging seats can now be adjusted for intensity as well as targeting specific areas of the body. The base trim level has been dropped, leaving Premium, F Sport, Luxury, and Ultra Luxury trims as your only choices. The top-spec Ultra Luxury trim now comes with a charging pad for wireless devices as standard.
