Two people seriously injured after a collision with a tractor trailer
A little before 2 a.m., a passenger vehicle was headed north on Molasses Hill road and attempted to cross over Rt. 20 to West Bethany road and was struck by an eastbound tractor trailer on Rt.20.
6 people were in the car. 3 were ejected.
Two people with serious injuries were transported by Mercy Flight. One to Strong hospital and one to ECMC.
Three others were transported by ground ambulance. One to Warsaw, one to UMMC and one to ECMC.
One female occupant of the car was not injured.
The truck driver was not injured.
Rt. 20 remains closed as the Genesee County Sheriff's Office Crash Management team investigates the cause of the accident.
Rt.20 will remain closed for several hours.
A press release with more information will be released later this morning.
UPDATE: The driver of the GEO Prism, Hannah Dibble, 21, of Pembroke was transported to ECMC by Mercy Medics and was treated and released.
Gabrielle Uzarowski, 21, of Pembroke was treated at the scene and released.
Felicia Fazzio, 20, of Darien was transported to ECMC by Mercy Ambulance and is in stable condition.
Alyson Krzanak, 18, of Pembroke was transported to ECMC by Mercy Flight and is in critical condition.
Brandon Danser, 21, of Batavia was transported by Mercy Flight to the U of R Medical center by Mercy Flight and is in guarded condition.
Jamie Scherer, 21, of Pembroke was transported by Attica Ambulance to WCCH and then transfered to the U of R Medical center by Mercy Flight and is in guarded conditon.
The driver of the tractor trailer, Leonard Odums, of Cuthburt, GA was not injured.
UPDATE: According to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office, Alyson D. Krzanak, 18, has died as a result of injuries sustained in this morning's accident.
