Here is a very quick look at the 1903 Wright flyer, made by the Wright brothers. This is the first powered aircraft to successfully fly, and the Wright brothers flew it for the first time in 1903. The Wright flyer aircraft has a lot of similar characteristics to today’s airplanes, and if you want to know how the Wright brothers first engine powered plane worked, watch this video, and I will show you the details of how the pilot was able to control gaining and reducing altitude, and also how he was able to increase and decrease speed, and turn the airplane. At the time, this airplane was very advanced, and it had a lot of the same important engineering characteristics that modern airplanes have. It’s fun to look at this airplane now and appreciate all of the engineering that went into making it the first ever powered aircraft to fly.
