I bought this nice OBD reader from Amazon for $40 to figure out what's wrong with my FJ.

The check engine light suddenly came up this morning on the dashboard, and the entire FJ was shaking badly.

The error message this device read was "P0306 Cylinder 6 misfire detected," which means that the spark plug in cylinder 6 needs replacing.

I wanted to replace all 6 spark plugs along with their ignition coils on my FJ anyway because I bet the previous owner never replaced them. The only reason why I kept delaying it is because one of the bolts on one of the ignition coils is broken, which means it will be a pain in the ass to extract it. And of course, that broken bolt is on cylinder 6, which is causing all this mess.

It will be a busy and fun day tomorrow in my garage working on this thing 😅
