Senet is an ancient Egyptian board game similar to backgammon. Each of the game’s two players have five pawns, which make their way around track of thirty spaces, split into three rows of ten spaces. Instead of dice, the pawns’ serpentine movement around the track is determined by the throw of 4 sticks, which are black on one side and white on the other.
